Interdisciplinary ThinkingCOVID-19 has impacted our personal and professional lives on many levels, including the need to constantly learn about ourselves and others and respond in new and compassionate ways.
This presentation is designed to increase your understanding of Emotional Intelligence (EI), and how to nurture your EI to achieve more effective and compassionate personal and professional relationships during this challenging time. Discussion will also cover the links between EI and successful career development, as well as how to apply the information learned, with tips on how to assess and enhance your EI.

Participants will become more knowledgeable about:

  • Effects of COVID-19 on our emotional well-being and relationships
  • Dimensions and measurement of EI
  • Research linking EI, relationship building, and career development
  • Ways to assess and enhance EI to have more effective and compassionate personal and professional relationships
About the Presenter: 

Jennifer Magnabosco, AB’85, AM’85, is a certified career, leadership and life transitions coach, consultant, and workshop trainer with a focus on leadership and career development, and emotional intelligence. She is certified as a leadership and life transitions coach by the Hudson Institute of Coaching, an associate certified coach by the International Coaching Federation, a career coach by GetFive, an emotional intelligence practitioner by Learning in Action Technologies, an EQi 2.0 coach by Multi-Health Systems, and a mental health first aid instructor by the National Council for Behavioral Health. She also holds a PhD from Columbia University.
